As well as being simple, these crackers are protein-rich and super-healthy! They contain only non modified and nourishing ingredients. You'll never buy crackers again!
CHICKPEA FLOUR
Chickpea flour is naturally gluten-free and rich in protein, iron and fiber. It is therefore satiating and helps stabilize blood sugar levels.
BROWN RICE FLOUR
Rice flour is not the most interesting flour from a nutritional point of view, but it is naturally gluten-free and rich in B vitamins. We chose whole rice flour, of course!
SUNFLOWER SEEDS
Sunflower seeds are small, rich and very interesting from a nutritional point of view. They are rich in plant -based proteins, vitamins and minerals.
Easy seed crackers (vegan + GF)
Ingredients
100 g brown rice flour
50 g chickpea flour
40 g sunflower seeds
40 g sesame seeds
30 g flax seeds (whole or mixed)
1/2 tsp. salt
20 g olive oil
220-250 g water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C.
In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together.
Add the oil and water. Mix well.
Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with non-stick baking paper or silicone. Using a spatula, spread the mixture evenly over the baking sheet. Then bake for 30-40 minutes at 180°C. (If you want pretty square crackers, take the baking sheet out of the oven after 15 minutes and cut out rectangles using a knife, pizza wheel or cookie cutter. At this stage of baking, the dough is soft enough to be cut out, then bake again at 180°C for around 15-20 minutes).
Cool the crackers on a wire rack or oven rack. This is an important step, as it prevents moisture from accumulating under the crackers.
